Amuro's Voluminous Nu Gundam and Hi-Nu Gundam: METAL ROBOT Damashii (Ka signature) Prototypes Unveiled!

Issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the completed model series 'METAL ROBOT Damashii (Ka signature)', which combines metallic texture painting with an alloy frame and is fully supervised by popular mechanical designer KATOKI HAJIME, has once again unveiled two new prototypes from 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack' – "Nu Gundam" and "Hi-Nu Gundam" – following the Mass Production Type Nu Gundam. Release dates are yet to be determined.

The "METAL ROBOT Damashii (Ka signature) Nu Gundam" brings to life the mobile suit designed by Earth Federation Forces Newtype ace pilot Amuro Ray from the theatrical anime 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack'. Its design style is based on modifications to the anime's original design drafts, featuring a characteristic slender face. The white armor sections, unlike the more elaborate MG Ver.Ka version, adopt a refined, undivided large-area armor design. Original Katoki Hajime-designed markings are printed throughout the entire body. However, its signature armament, the "Fin Funnels," were not displayed this time.

The "METAL ROBOT Damashii (Ka signature) Hi-Nu Gundam" is the mobile suit piloted by Amuro Ray in the novel 'Beltorchika's Children'. Unlike previous standard METAL ROBOT Damashii releases, its overall design adheres more closely to the novel's settings, featuring extremely heavy and voluminous armor proportions. It also adopts a refined, undivided large-area armor design, presenting an elegant appearance through its purple and white paint scheme and original Katoki Hajime-designed markings.
