Following the ED-209, the "MODEROID" model kit series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, has once again announced its latest product from the movie "RoboCop 2": "Cain". The suggested retail price is 9,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2023.
The powerful antagonist "Cain", who appears in the movie "RoboCop 2", is the head of Detroit City's crime syndicate, amassing a fortune through the drug "Nuke". During an encounter with Cain, RoboCop Murphy accidentally triggered a trap and was dismembered. At the same time, Omni Consumer Products (OCP), the corporation that modified Murphy, was actively developing a second-generation RoboCop in its bid to take over Detroit City. They killed Cain, extracted his brain tissue, and transformed him into the colossal RoboCop 2.
The "MODEROID Cain Model Kit" is a substantial kit, standing approximately 22cm tall. It meticulously recreates RoboCop 2's unique body proportions, featuring a massive chest and bipedal stance. The intricate armaments on its arms are all articulated, allowing for dynamic and violent combat poses! It is equipped with mechanisms to recreate various scenes from the film. Through interchangeable parts, you can enjoy the head screen in its deployed state, and it comes with three types of screen stickers: no display, data reading, and Cain's face display. The opening and closing of the abdominal hatch can also be replicated with interchangeable parts.
The cables on the arms utilize pin connections, while the abdominal cables are recreated with soft tubes. The lower body parts use pre-assembled joint connections, allowing for stable posing despite its large size. Enjoy displaying it alongside the "HAGANE WORKS RoboCop" and "ED-209"!
