The detailed diorama statue sculpting team Figurama Collectors, under its Elite Diorama series, will launch a new work based on the popular Japanese anime "Lupin the 3rd" titled "Lupin, Jigen & Fujiko" 1/8 scale diorama statue. The suggested retail price is $495 USD, limited to 950 units, and is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2023.
In the story setting of the anime "Lupin the 3rd," Lupin the 3rd is the third-generation successor to the gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, known as the "most outstanding thief" in the world. He is a chivalrous thief with a strong sense of justice and a mastery of art-style theft techniques, always sending a calling card before a heist. He collaborates with his partners, gunman Daisuke Jigen and master swordsman Goemon Ishikawa, to steal secret treasures worldwide, and maintains a delicate relationship with the mysterious Eurasian femme fatale Fujiko Mine, who is at once a lover, comrade, and rival.
The "Figurama Collectors Lupin, Jigen & Fujiko" 1/8 scale diorama statue, with a total height of approximately 32 cm, is inspired by the theatrical film "Lupin the 3rd: Italian Game." It brings to life the scene of Fujiko speeding through the streets of Italy in Lupin's iconic yellow FIAT 500. Special effects parts, such as bullet impacts on the car and smoke under the wheels, create the thrilling excitement of a breathtaking chase, with Lupin and Jigen skillfully dodging bullets while attacking their pursuers! Scattered chairs and wanted posters for Lupin on the base are vividly depicted.
Lupin hangs out of the car window, wearing a vibrant blue jacket and holding his Walther P38 pistol, with meticulous detail shown in his hair, stubble, and arm hair; his loyal partner Daisuke Jigen is showcasing his skills, and the cunning and beautiful Fujiko Mine possesses an irresistible charm that even the car window glass cannot obscure! A bent road sign, a flying cider bottle, and a startled chicken create the tension of a speeding car whizzing by, making it incredibly vivid and full of detail.
