Bandai Spirits' "Furo tomo" (ふろとも) series of collectible figures, which combines character models with bath powder, will release the "Furo tomo Chainsaw Man Bath Toy Collection (tentative title)" based on the popular anime "Chainsaw Man." There will be four types, each priced at 550 JPY, with an anticipated release in late October 2022.
Created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, the dark shonen manga series "Chainsaw Man" tells the story of a world overrun by "Devils." The extremely impoverished protagonist, Denji, becomes a Devil Hunter to repay his deceased father's enormous debt, earning money by slaying Devils and partnering with the Chainsaw Devil, "Pochita." In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. This also leads Denji to be noticed by the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division 4."
The "Furo tomo Chainsaw Man Bath Toy Collection" features four characters: Pochita, Denji, Power, and Aki Hayakawa, designed in a bathhouse setting. Each figure is wrapped in a towel and can be arranged to create an adorable scene of them sitting on small bath stools, scrubbing each other's backs! Each set includes a 25g packet of bath powder, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing bath while admiring the bathing Chainsaw Man characters~ Especially Pochita at the front, with a small towel on his head – absolutely adorable!♥
