Hidden strength beneath the ordinary! Japanese toy brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure series "POP UP PARADE" is set to release two main characters from the popular anime series "Mob Psycho 100", currently airing, in March 2023: the protagonist "Shigeo Kageyama" and his master "Reigen Arataka"!
"Mob Psycho 100" (モブサイコ100) is a manga created by renowned manga artist "ONE" (whose other famous work is "One-Punch Man"). It began serialization on the "Ura Sunday" website in 2012 and concluded in December 2017. The anime adaptation started in 2016, with the latest third season having just premiered on October 6, 2022.

The protagonist, Shigeo Kageyama, is a second-year middle school student with psychic powers. Due to his seemingly frail and extremely ordinary appearance, he earned the nickname "Mob" (モブ). He works for his self-proclaimed highly skilled psychic master, "Reigen Arataka," at his office for a very low hourly wage, solving a series of mysterious incidents. Meanwhile, his hidden alternate personality gradually begins to emerge.
These two protagonists from "Mob Psycho 100," released by POP UP PARADE, faithfully recreate their appearances from the original work. Shigeo Kageyama is presented in his standard middle school uniform, with a seemingly dazed expression, a shy smile, and an outstretched hand in a friendly greeting pose, giving off a very amiable impression.
His master, Reigen Arataka, who always loves to put on airs, is depicted based on the suit he most frequently wears in the series. With one hand in his pocket and the other confidently gesturing around his chin, his facial expression also conveys an extremely narcissistic feeling, perfectly capturing his demeanor.
