Following the release of Echo and Hunter, Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys today (14th) announced their latest product from Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the Crosshair 1/6th scale collectible figure! Shipping is estimated for Q4 2023 - Q1 2024.
The story of Star Wars: The Bad Batch revolves around "Clone Force 99," a squad composed of five clone troopers. The first episode takes place around the time of "Order 66," during the tumultuous period of the Republic's fall and the Empire's rise. These five so-called "Bad Batch" members are targeted by Imperial officer "Tarkin"; meanwhile, the young girl "Omega," who has spent her entire life on Kamino, seems to harbor undiscovered secrets... This time, "Crosshair" is the member who left the Bad Batch in the first episode.
This figure stands approximately 30 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It is designed based on Crosshair's appearance while he was still with Clone Force 99, recreating details such as his gray helmet adorned with crosshairs and red lines, battle-damaged armor, the "99" insignia and skull pattern on his shoulder pad, and his ammunition belt. The equipment backpack on his back connects to the main body via magnets and can also hold his sniper rifle. The head sculpt, like previous releases, is crafted using high-definition likeness technology, capturing Crosshair's facial contours, textures, the crosshair marking on his right eye, and his distinctive look with a toothpick in his mouth. Accessories include an assembleable sniper rifle with multiple barrels, a scope, magazines, as well as a bomb, and multiple interchangeable hands.
