Following the release of "Faputa" based on the popular anime "Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun," KDcolle, a brand under Japan's KADOKAWA Corporation, is now set to release the "Nanachi 1/7 Scale Figure"! It will be available in both a standard edition and a KADOKAWA Special Set edition, with an anticipated release in September 2023.
Nanachi is a "Narehate" (Hollow) who suffered the "Curse of the Abyss" and became a "Tragic End." Originally an orphan with silver-white hair and yellow-green eyes, after undergoing experiments related to the Abyss by Bondrewd, Nanachi transformed into a beast-human hybrid resembling a combination of a small girl and a rabbit. Possessing extensive knowledge, skilled in surgery and pharmacology, Nanachi also has a very mature and steady personality, always willing to help others. After using the power of the "Incinerator" to free their friend Mitty, Nanachi joined Riko and Reg on their journey to explore the Abyss.
The "KDcolle Nanachi 1/7 Scale Figure" stands approximately 28 cm tall. This figure brings to life Nanachi's appearance from the anime, featuring the blue helmet-like hood and new outfit. It utilizes delicate flocking to faithfully recreate Nanachi's adorable look, covered in thick fur. The long ears, lighter-colored belly, and striped white fur on the back are all accurately rendered, making it not only a joy to display but also delightful to touch! The eyes are printed on the back of transparent parts, creating a lustrous depth and three-dimensional effect.
