BANDAI CANDY, Bandai Toys' Shokugan Division in Japan, which issues the "Mobile Suit Gundam" Shokugan series "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE" featuring intricate structures and details at an average height of 55mm, today announced that its latest product, "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE The Red Comet's Return," is scheduled for release in March 2023.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE The Red Comet's Return," themed after "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," includes the custom mobile suits of Full Frontal, the leader of the Neo Zeon remnants "The Sleeves" and known as the "Second Coming of Char." This set features three mobile suits: Sinanju, Sinanju Stein (UC ver.), and Geara Doga (Full Frontal's Custom Machine), all boasting high-density detailed sculpting and abundant weapon accessories.
・Sinanju
Based on the main body of the Sinanju from the previously released EX23 series, it has been re-painted with a glossy red and white finish, while the black and gunmetal parts are crafted with a matte texture. It also faithfully reproduces the gold patterns on the chest armor, arms, shield, and the unit markings across the entire machine. Weapons include two beam rifles with bazookas, two beam tomahawks, two beam sabers, and a newly sculpted beam naginata.
・Sinanju Stein (UC ver.)
Modified from the Sinanju Stein (NT ver.) released in the previous #13 series, the overall gray tone is slightly brighter compared to the NT version, and new parts are used to reproduce the armor design before "The Sleeves" emblem was added. The weaponry also includes a newly produced beam rifle, shield, and two high-output beam sabers, which differ in design from the NT version.
・Geara Doga (Full Frontal's Custom Machine)
This machine is based on the Geara Doga from the previous #03 and #04 series, reproducing the two distinct shades of red characteristic of Full Frontal's custom machine. "The Sleeves" unit markings have been added throughout the entire machine. In addition to the standard beam machine gun and beam hawk, a newly produced shield and a commander type beam machine gun are also included.
