The suggested retail price is 4,500 JPY, with an estimated release in May 2023.
The classic robot anime "Tetsujin 28: Messenger of the Sun" (太陽の使者 鉄人28号), produced by Tokyo Movie in Japan, is the second animated adaptation of Mitsuteru Yokoyama's manga series "Tetsujin 28-go". It was formerly known as "Iron Superman" in Taiwan. Unlike the original cuter, more rounded design, this new version features a slender, humanoid physique.
The "MODEROID Tetsujin 28: Messenger of the Sun" model kit brings the newly designed "Tetsujin 28-go" to life as a model kit! Standing approximately 16 cm tall, its entire body features flexible articulation at each joint, allowing for iconic poses such as powerful punches and flying kicks. The kit faithfully reproduces the heavy armor design, and by assembling the various pre-colored parts and some pre-painted components, you can recreate its appearance from the series!
Included are a Clipper (piloted by Shotaro, requires self-painting) in the same scale as Tetsujin, and a head part for recreating its flying state. Furthermore, the rockets on its back meticulously reproduce the wing deployment mechanism, allowing for dynamic flying poses!
