Luxembourg's premier statue team Tsume-Art, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and magnificent dioramas, has once again unveiled a new creation from "Naruto Shippuden" for its "IKIGAI" series, following "Naruto" and "Sasuke" – the "Rock Lee" 1/6 scale full-body statue. Limited to 1,800 units worldwide, it is expected to ship from Q3 2023 to Q1 2024.
The popular character "Rock Lee," also known as Lee, who appears in the "Naruto" series. Due to his inability to control chakra well, he could barely use ninjutsu or genjutsu, so he focused all his energy on taijutsu training. With his strong willpower and passionate personality, he firmly believed that with hard work, he could surpass even geniuses with Kekkei Genkai, earning him the title "Genius of Hard Work" from his teacher Might Guy. His strength is incredibly solid; even as a Genin, he could open five of the "Eight Inner Gates," earning him the nickname "The Beautiful Green Beast of Konoha."
The "Tsume-Art Rock Lee IKIGAI" 1/6 scale full-body statue is inspired by the climactic showdown between Gaara and Rock Lee during the Chunin Exams in the anime. It vividly captures Lee in his furious state after opening the Fifth Gate of the Eight Inner Gates, with his muscles bulging and skin turned completely red. Dressed in his signature green jumpsuit and wearing his Konoha forehead protector around his waist, his usual bowl cut is swept upwards by his surging power, and his pupils have turned pure white as he fully unleashes his strength, performing the "Reverse Lotus" at superhuman speed! Fiery blue sweat vapor emanates from his hands and feet, and his flowing bandages add a dynamic sense of motion to the entire piece!
The base depicts the moment Lee, with his teacher Might Guy's permission, removes the thousand-pound training weights from his ankles, inscribed with the kanji for "Guts" (根性), kicking up a breathtaking cloud of dust.
