GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" from Japan is releasing "Chainsaw Man" and "POP UP PARADE Denji" PVC figures, based on the popular anime "Chainsaw Man"! Each will retail for 4,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2023.
Authored by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, the dark shonen manga "Chainsaw Man" tells the story of Denji, an extremely impoverished protagonist in a world overrun by "devils." To repay his deceased father's massive debt, Denji becomes a Devil Hunter, earning money by slaying devils, and partners with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita" to hunt them. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. This ability catches the attention of the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division."
The "POP UP PARADE Denji" PVC figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, bringing Denji's uniform-clad appearance to life! His wild, tongue-out grin reveals his signature sharp teeth, paired with the action of pulling the cord connected to his heart on his chest. The flowing tie and intricate finger details are incredibly dynamic, capturing him ready to transform into Chainsaw Man and unleash chaos!!!
