Following the "Rei Ayanami Long Hair Ver.," Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY is now releasing a 1/7 scale figure of "Asuka Shikinami Langley" in her instantly grown-up, bursting plugsuit version, based on the highly popular work "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time"! Pre-orders are scheduled to open on November 11, 2022, with shipping in January 2024.
This new look, dubbed "Bursting Plugsuit Asuka" by fans, appeared in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." It depicts Asuka instantly reverting to her original 28-year-old appearance after the "Curse of Eva," which kept her body at 14, was broken, causing her plugsuit to tear open (a huge treat for Asuka fans!).
The "GOOD SMILE COMPANY Asuka Shikinami Langley" 1/7 scale figure brings the adult version of Asuka to life, faithfully recreating her sexy, torn plugsuit. The glossy, vibrant red plugsuit paint contrasts sharply with the exposed skin texture, showcasing her curvaceous figure, with a particularly alluring décolletage! Her face and demeanor exude mature charm, her eyes bright yet revealing a hint of sadness and melancholy... Her gently flowing long hair is also meticulously sculpted. The iconic sensor device she usually wears on her head is specially depicted here, removed and held in her hand or scattered around her.
