The popular "POKEMON SCALE WORLD" shokugan series, released by BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product for the first-generation setting, the "Kanto Region": the "Lt. Surge & Magneton & Electabuzz" set. The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2023.
The "POKEMON SCALE WORLD" series is produced at a consistent 1/20 scale, allowing collectors to compare the size differences between human characters and various Pokémon, creating a miniature world where humans and Pokémon coexist. This enables different characters to encounter a wide array of Pokémon, faithfully recreating the worldview of the "Pokémon" series.
The "POKEMON SCALE WORLD Kanto Region Lt. Surge & Magneton & Electabuzz" set features intricate sizes ranging from approximately 50mm to 94mm in height at 1/20 scale. It faithfully recreates Lt. Surge, the Gym Leader of Vermilion City, along with Magneton, which emits mysterious radio waves, and Electabuzz, which has a tiger-like appearance. The paintwork meticulously reproduces details such as the camouflage uniform, the poles of the magnets, and patterns. The expressions and poses are also lively and cool!
