MAX FACTORY Co., Ltd., a Japanese toy company, will release the first installment of its popular "figma" action figure series based on the hit anime "Chainsaw Man," featuring "figma Denji." The suggested retail price is 13,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2023!
"Chainsaw Man," a dark shonen manga created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of a world overrun by "devils." The extremely impoverished protagonist, Denji, becomes a devil hunter, earning money by slaying devils to pay off his deceased father's enormous debt, and partners with the Chainsaw Devil, "Pochita," to hunt devils. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. Because of this, he is noticed by the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division."
The "figma Denji" action figure utilizes figma's original joint parts, allowing for various poses without easily slipping, ensuring both balance and articulation, all while maintaining Denji's uniform and the wild head sculpt of his Chainsaw Man form. This deluxe release includes three interchangeable expressions for Denji: a "normal face," a "transformation face" with his tongue out, and an "evil grin." Additionally, it comes with "Chainsaw Man head" and "Chainsaw Man tongue-out" interchangeable parts, allowing for enjoyment of multiple expressions! Besides an axe, a pull cord, and several interchangeable hand parts like a "YA" gesture, it naturally includes the incredibly wild chainsaw arms, recreating Denji's active poses! Most importantly, his partner "Pochita" is also included!
