Japan's TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー) prize figures, following the popular anime 'Chainsaw Man' themed "Power", the protagonist "Denji" prize figure is also scheduled for an April 2023 release!
Created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, the dark shonen manga series 'Chainsaw Man' tells the story of a world overrun by "Devils." The extremely impoverished protagonist, Denji, becomes a Devil Hunter to repay his deceased father's massive debt, earning money by slaying Devils and collaborating with the Chainsaw Devil, "Pochita," to hunt them. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. Consequently, he is recruited by the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division 4."
The "TAITO Prize Denji Figure" stands approximately 18 cm tall, faithfully recreating Denji's mocking, delinquent grin, revealing a mouthful of sharp, pointed teeth. His roguish demeanor is undeniably Denji! The shirtless design showcases his lean yet well-defined musculature and physique, a result of hunger. Details such as the chainsaw pull cord (Pochita's tail) connected to his heart on his chest and his torn pants are also excellently sculpted, especially the intricate finger details – aren't they just fantastic?
