The future has arrived early! The largest virtual-real co-performance concert in Taiwan, combining popular singers and virtual idols (VTubers), "V Future Party," is set to kick off this Saturday, November 19th, at the Kaohsiung Music Center's Hi-Ing Music Hall!
Taiwan's new generation of virtual idols, K.R.T. Girls, along with popular up-and-coming VTubers like Annin Miru, Beta Huni, and KITSUNEKON Kuu, will share the stage for a spectacular singing and dancing showdown with popular artists such as GBOYSWAG, Ozone, Caotun Boyz, Gambler, and PINK FUN! For those who want to experience the stunning impact of virtual-real integration and witness a visual spectacle of light and shadow that transcends dimensions, you absolutely cannot miss this feast of virtual and real—the first-ever cross-disciplinary fusion of pop music and ACG technology in Taiwan!★
★ An All-in-One Production at the Kaohsiung Music Center Park, a Powerhouse Collaboration for "Taiwan's Most Powerful 5G 3DCG Experience Concert"
Recognizing that "virtual idols are a key trend in the future of pop culture," the Kaohsiung Music Center (KMC) has initiated this project, inviting the formidable animation production team "Fabula," lighting and stage design team "FREES," and "Crescent Digicast Inc." to jointly realize this incredible plan for "V Future Party"—the first virtual-real co-performance in the history of Taiwanese pop music!
"Crescent Digicast Inc." will utilize Taiwan's largest motion capture studio, on par with that of Cygames, simultaneously operating over 70 VICON Vantage V16 motion capture cameras, allowing for free movement within a 16x9 meter area to precisely capture and generate motion. Last year (2021), the Crescent Digicast Inc. team showcased a real-time performance by K.R.T. Girls at the KMC's opening concert. This time, they will take on the challenge of performing real-time motion capture for four individuals simultaneously, instantly generating incredibly detailed models exceeding 5 billion pixels, while also employing a facial scanning system and studio-grade audio recording. Then, leveraging the high-speed 5G network deployed by Chunghwa Telecom at the KMC venue, the data will be transmitted in real-time, point-to-point and end-to-end, to the concert control console at the Hi-Ing Music Hall. After VJ integration, it will be sent to the LED screens on stage.
By supporting the virtual idol industry with mature 5th generation mobile communication (5G) and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) application technologies, they have overcome the immense challenges of bringing VTubers from small computer screens to the grand stage. Combined with real-time interaction that allows them to have dance-offs and battle live singers on the same stage, fans will experience an unprecedented cross-disciplinary, hybrid virtual-real Party!

This event features numerous well-known artists skilled in both singing and dancing, including GBOYSWAG, Atom Boyz's Ozone, Caotun Boyz, The Rappers' Gambler, and the "first love" girl group PINK FUN, as well as the temple parade performance troupe Chio-Tian Folk Drums & Arts Troupe; The virtual idol lineup is just as spectacular, featuring K.R.T. Girls, who performed at the opening of the Kaohsiung Music Center last year, the 2D feline star AMOW, popular VTuber Annin Miru, the spirit of Taiwanese VTubing KITSUNEKON Kuu, ambassador Beta Huni, and Aki!
Each VTuber has their own unique talents, ranging from hosting and singing to esports gaming and casual live streaming, and for their co-performance with singers on the grand stage of the "V Future Party," these virtual idols have been practicing the latest dance routines like crazy, taking on rap battles, and preparing hilarious talking segments, promising a moving grand assembly of virtual and real idol groups! Furthermore, the epic song "To the Farthest Planet We Go," performed as a grand chorus by Atom Boyz's Ozone and all the VTubers, will be the grand finale~ Just imagining everyone dancing the same steps together during the chorus is enough to give you goosebumps from excitement!
