Following the Blade Liger, Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's popular toy series 'ZOIDS' recently announced the second product in its 40th Anniversary Project, 'ZOIDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT,' showcasing the culmination of its technology: the development prototype of "ZOIDS AZ-02 LIGER ZERO." The release date is yet to be determined.
The commemorative project 'ZOIDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT,' celebrating the 40th anniversary of the highly popular mechanical beast model series 'ZOIDS,' brings together popular Liger-type Zoids from throughout its history. These 1/72 scale model products are re-released with TAKARA TOMY's latest technology, featuring built-in motor power units. Some parts come pre-painted, offering not only impressive armor designs but also recreating various weapon deployment mechanisms through motor power. The eyes and core also feature built-in LED light-up mechanisms. In addition to the currently revealed Blade Liger and Liger Zero, future releases are also planned for units such as Murasame Liger.
