The popular articulated figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced a collaboration with popular Japanese singer "T.M.Revolution" Takanori Nishikawa. They will produce and commercialize an "S.H.Figuarts Takanori Nishikawa" articulated figure using full-body scan modeling!
Japanese singer Takanori Nishikawa debuted in 1996 under the name "T.M.Revolution," performing many classic songs with his powerful voice. As a passionate fan of anime and manga culture, he has also sung theme songs for anime such as "Rurouni Kenshin" and "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED." Among his many songs, the one that best represents T.M.Revolution is undoubtedly the single "HOT LIMIT," released in 1998. The reason for this song's immense popularity, in addition to its passionate lyrics and music, is its unforgettable music video, where he performs enthusiastically on an offshore platform, wearing a futuristic "tape outfit" while being buffeted by the sea breeze.
The "S.H.Figuarts Takanori Nishikawa" figure digitizes his 2022 physique using a 360-degree full-body scan. Digital modeling technology is used to recreate his incredibly muscular, inverted triangle physique. Under his personal supervision, the articulated joints are precisely designed, and digital coloring technology is applied throughout the body to achieve a skin tone similar to human skin. However, the product cannot be released with him wearing only underwear, so this articulated figure will feature the "HOT LIMIT ('22 Latest Ver.)" costume, designed to complement his muscular physique.
Additionally, the accessories include two interchangeable face parts, two hairstyle parts, four pairs of interchangeable hands, a microphone, and a star-shaped stage base. With the flexible articulated joints, you can fully recreate the energetic dance poses from the music video and reproduce the classic scene of him passionately singing on the sea!
