The transforming alloy toy『DX Chogokin』series, produced by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, will showcase its latest work at the『TAMASHII NATION 2022』model exhibition held on November 18th. The official site recently revealed a partial glimpse of this product ahead of the event, unveiling the new release to be the「Super Ghost」from《Macross Delta》, which was previously announced for commercialization!
The「Ghost」, which appeared in《Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!》, is a remotely operated unmanned combat aircraft used by the private military companyChaosin conjunction with its main model, theVF-31AX Siegfried PLUS. One unit is mounted on each side of the main wings. The Ghost is equipped with armaments such as a single beam cannon and missile pods, and can also be enhanced with Super Pack components to become the more powerful「Super Ghost」.
According to information previously released by Bandai in model magazines, the「DX Chogokin Super Ghost」measures approximately 20 cm in length in its Ghost form without the Super Pack. All Super Pack components, including four additional thrusters and reinforced nose armaments, can be freely attached and detached. The partial appearance of the painted prototype released this time also reveals a cool black fuselage with orange line markings.
By combining it with the separately sold「DX Chogokin VF-31AX Siegfried PLUS (Hayate's Machine)」main unit and the twin beam cannon from the「DX Chogokin VF-31AX Siegfried PLUS (Hayate's Machine) Enhanced Armor Expansion Set」, you can recreate theVF-31AX Siegfried PLUS (Hayate's Machine) Super Ghost Equipped Typepiloted by protagonist Hayate during the final battle at the end of the series!
