The full details of the dream product from the collaboration between Japan's two major toy giants, BANDAI SPIRITS and TAKARA TOMY, the "Chogokin ZOIDS RZ-041 Liger Zero", have been officially revealed, with a scheduled release in June 2023.
Unlike typical Zoids equipped with an OS, the lion-type Zoid RZ-041 Liger Zero was developed based on a "complete wild form". It features the distinctive "CAS (Changing Armor System)", which allows it to swap armor and weapons to suit different environments and tactical needs. Among these, the gray-white "Zero Armor" set purely brings out the wild form's performance, making it the most representative and highly versatile equipment for the Liger Zero.
The "Chogokin RZ-041 Liger Zero" combines the technical prowess of both BANDAI SPIRITS and TAKARA TOMY. Its overall length, including the tail, reaches approximately 40 cm, and its eyes feature built-in LED light-up devices. The highly detailed, articulated frame is crafted from alloy materials, faithfully embodying the characteristics of a metallic lifeform. Parts of the frame and armor are made with die-cast alloy components and finished with various metallic paint applications for hydraulic cylinders, heat vents, metallic red joint shafts, and golden laser claws, thoroughly expressing the heavy, mechanical texture.
While presenting a mechanical feel, the frame's design also features shapes that closely resemble biological muscle lines. It utilizes extremely flexible articulated joint designs to achieve dynamic, beast-like poses, allowing for vivid stances such as running, jumping, landing, pouncing, and attacking. The armor parts not only boast sharp and cool detailed expressions and body markings, but each armor section can also be detached to realize the CAS changing armor system. The Chogokin series is also planned to release the combat armor "Schneider", high-speed combat armor "Jaeger", and heavy armament armor "Panzer" for future customization!
