Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse, known for its 'GGG (Gundam Girls Generation)' character figure series which sculpts female characters from the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series into exquisite figures, recently unveiled the unpainted prototype of its latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY', 'Lunamaria Hawke Swimsuit Ver.'. The release date is yet to be determined.
Lunamaria Hawke is a 'Red Coat' elite pilot of the Z.A.F.T. military, serving as an MS pilot alongside her peers Shinn Asuka and Rey Za Burrel aboard the state-of-the-art battleship 'Minerva'. Lunamaria initially piloted a ZAKU Warrior, and later took over as the pilot of the Impulse Gundam after Shinn transferred to the Destiny Gundam. In all aspects, she possesses the qualities of a true heroine. Furthermore, adorable actions such as secretly modifying her military uniform into a mini-skirt style also earned Lunamaria considerable popularity during the broadcast. Ultimately, not only did Lunamaria and Shinn become lovers in the series, but their voice actors, Maaya Sakamoto and Kenichi Suzumura, also became a married couple in real life.
The 'GGG Mobile Suit Gundam SEED-D Lunamaria Hawke Swimsuit Ver.' currently only has its unpainted prototype on display. The figure sculpts Lunamaria in a scene where she is taking off her outer clothing, already prepared in her bikini swimsuit. It not only sculpts her alluring, beautiful body curves, but also faithfully recreates rich details in the clothing, such as fine wrinkles, zippers, and denim stitching.
