Yutaka Izubuchi, who has served as mechanical designer for 'Space Battleship Yamato,' 'Patlabor,' and 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack,' holds multiple roles including director, screenwriter, producer, and mechanical designer. His first fantasy manga, 'Rune Masquer,' is set in an alternate world where warlords vie for power. The protagonist, young Real, after experiencing the pain of his nation's destruction, is adopted by the centaur giant Sleipnir and raised within the royal family, facing the conflicts and conspiracies of various nations...
The "ARTPLA Sleipnir" plastic model kit, which recreates the Machine God from the work with a modern perspective and the latest technology, is sculpted by Akira Tani, Kaiyodo's chief in the mechanical modeling field. It meticulously reproduces Yutaka Izubuchi's unique design, combining the voluminous, centaur-like mechanical features. Its exterior is composed of flowing curves, and details like the flowing mane and tail are cleverly divided into fixed parts, making it an easy-to-assemble plain gray model. The kit also includes a large spear and a base, allowing you to admire the Machine God's majestic and dignified posture standing on a rock once painted.
