Japanese toy company EVOLUTION TOY's HERO ACTION FIGURE series (HAF for short), which has previously released many transforming heroes from Tokusatsu series, is scheduled to release an action figure in April 2023 of the Tokusatsu hero "Human Cannon Koseider" (人間大砲コセイダー) from the classic Tokusatsu film "Dinosaur Sentai Koseidon" (恐竜戦隊コセイドン)!
"Dinosaur Sentai Koseidon" (恐竜戦隊コセイドン) is a Tokusatsu film produced by Tsuburaya Productions, which began airing in 1978 on Tokyo Channel 12 (12 channel, later TV Tokyo). The story describes how future humans, having discovered tachyons, successfully traveled through time. People then planned to return to the Cretaceous period to build colonies, and the security work for the escort mission was entrusted to the Koseidon Team, who operated the giant spaceship "Koseidon-go". Later, the alien Godmes (ゴドメス) began to invade ancient Earth, and so the Koseidon Team engaged in a life-or-death battle with them to protect Earth.
This Human Cannon Koseider released by EVOLUTION TOY perfectly recreates the Koseidon Team member played by the protagonist "Toki Go" (トキ・ゴウ), who transforms into Koseider after being launched from a cannon. With its red-colored bodysuit design, thanks to the HAF series' excellent articulation, and a variety of interchangeable hand parts, as well as included weapon accessories like the Plasma Beam Gun and Laser Saber, it can strike various dynamic poses just like in the show.
