Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's GASHAPON capsule toy brand, known for its 'AQUA SHOOTERS!' series of articulated bishojo figures, recently announced the commercialization of "Suletta Mercury" and "Miorine Rembran" from "Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury". The full product details are expected to be officially revealed in mid-December 2022.
The world of the 'AQUA SHOOTERS!' series is set in a near-future where the VR shooting sports game "AQUA GAME" is highly popular among young people. Players create unique bishojo characters in the game and engage in intense water gun battles using various water gun weapons. Each character figure stands approximately 7.5 cm tall and features about 14 points of articulation, allowing for play with included face parts, weapons, and interchangeable hand parts.
This time, expanding into the Gundam series once again, the "Suletta Mercury & Miorine Rembran Set" will maintain the series' common body specifications. New parts will be used to recreate their Asticassia School of Technology uniforms. Accessories include 3 different face parts for each character, 7 types of interchangeable hand parts, water guns, and in-show items such as "Haro," "watering can," and "tomato." Their compact bodies and flexible articulation allow for recreating various scenes.
You can even pair them with the Aerial Gundam from MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE Vol. 23, allowing Suletta to perform the mysterious, calisthenics-like dance from the Gundam Company promotional video! The product is planned for a general release version and a PREMIUM BANDAI exclusive version with abundant bonus features.
