From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, the robot-themed articulated finished product 『ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.』 series has announced the commercialization of its latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV," the "Gundam (Rollout Color) & Plamo-Kyoshiro Special Parts Set." Detailed product information is expected to be released on December 8th.
The RX-78-2 Gundam (Rollout Color) being commercialized this time is the same mobile suit as the Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray, the protagonist in "Mobile Suit Gundam." According to MSV settings, this unit maintained its factory rollout state before being transported to the Side 7 colony and piloted by Amuro. Its exterior was painted in a silver-white color, with red warning and caution markings printed in various locations on the fuselage. It was only after being sent to Side 7 for final testing that it was painted in the familiar red, blue, and white colors known to viewers.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam (Rollout Color) & Plamo-Kyoshiro Special Parts Set ver. A.N.I.M.E." is based on previously released RX-78 series Gundam mobile suits, and features a silver-white paint scheme with red fuselage markings to reproduce the rollout color. It boasts flexible articulated joints and comes with armaments such as a beam rifle, beam saber, and Hyper Bazooka. Furthermore, the "Plamo-Kyoshiro Special Parts Set" also includes additional armor parts, allowing for the reproduction of the Simple Armored Gundam that appeared in the manga "Plamo-Kyoshiro"!
