Japanese model manufacturer PLEX today announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam", the "Jumbo Soft Vinyl Figure SD RX-78-2 Gundam -SD Gundam-", expected to be released in April 2023.
This product transforms the SD-style, low-proportion protagonist mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam", the RX-78-2 Gundam, into a soft vinyl figure with a total height of approximately 23 cm. It perfectly reproduces the classic red, white, and blue color scheme and the distinctive triangular leg design, boasting a substantial presence. The neck and shoulder joints are rotatable, allowing for various poses with armaments such as the Beam Saber, Beam Rifle, and Shield. Additionally, the product includes an acrylic stand printed with the product name, which can be displayed alongside the soft vinyl figure itself.
