LEGO's "BrickHeadz" product series, characterized by its chibi proportions and cute big-head designs, will release its latest product from Star Wars, the "40615 Tusken Raider", on January 1, 2023!
The Tusken Raiders, a nomadic people from Tatooine who first appeared in 'A New Hope', are commonly known as Sand People. They are tall, fierce, and launch aggressive attacks on territorial invaders. They also tame "Bantha" as mounts. Their distinctive "ooh-ooh-ooh~" cry is another memorable feature besides their appearance. In the Star Wars universe, Tuskens are one of the most iconic species! Subsequent Star Wars series like 'The Mandalorian' and 'The Book of Boba Fett' have provided even deeper portrayals of the Tusken Raiders, including their customs, social structure, and interactions with outsiders, among other aspects.
This model consists of 152 pieces and stands approximately 8 cm tall when assembled. It uses various earth-toned bricks to construct the Tusken Raider's distinctive head sculpt and attire. The varying shades of sand-colored bricks, paired with a brown belt and highly accurate eyes, create a nice sense of layering for the overall look.
