BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan has announced the latest model kit product from "Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury," the "The Witch from Mercury Weapon Display Base," slated for release in January 2023.

In "Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury," the latest installment in the Gundam TV series, many early-appearing mobile suits are equipped with remotely controlled unmanned weapons that typically appear in the mid-to-late stages of previous Gundam series, such as the Aerial Gundam's "GUND-Bits" and the Darilbalde's "Drones." While the combat sequences in the anime are incredibly cool, the model kits don't fly on their own! Many builders' GUND-Bits are likely still attached to their Gundams, unable to detach.

To address this, BANDAI HOBBY has released this 'Weapon Display Base' which is compatible with the HG 1/144 and FULL MECHANICS Gunpla from 'The Witch from Mercury' series. All parts are molded in clear material, and it includes 2 connectable trapezoidal bases, 6 sets of articulated support arms (3 long, 3 short), and connection parts specifically for the Aerial Gundam & Lfrith, Pharact, and Darilbalde. With one or more 'Weapon Display Bases,' you can recreate the cool formations of GUND-Bits and drones after launch, just like in the show!
