BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially announced today the latest product from the "ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E." series, a robot-themed articulated finished product, "Gerbera Tetra Kai," from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory," scheduled for release in June 2023.
The AGX-01A1 Gerbera Tetra Kai is an enhanced specification modified from the assault combat mobile suit Gerbera Tetra, which was originally the Gundam GP04G Gerbera and later transferred to Cima Garahau. Its overall performance has been improved with a focus on mobility. The head has been modified with a pair of blade-like antennas, multiple white armor parts have been added throughout the body, and a rear stabilizer wing has been installed. The previously detachable optional large thrusters have been integrated with the shoulder armor, making the mobile suit's specifications closer to a next-generation unit.
The "ROBOT魂 Gerbera Tetra Kai ver. A.N.I.M.E." has been thoroughly supervised by mechanical designer Mika Akitaka himself. It faithfully reproduces the distinctive head and armor of the entire unit, the large thrusters integrated with the shoulder armor, and the newly designed rear stabilizer wings. It also features two-axis articulation for the elbow joints, an interlocking storage mechanism for the inner knee armor, and articulation for the shoulder armor and thrusters, allowing for more natural and dynamic poses.
For weaponry, it includes a long-range rifle, a beam machine gun, a beam rifle, a beam saber, a set of beam effect parts, and two types of jet effect parts (long and short). These allow for the recreation of various cool combat scenes, such as firing beams, wielding beam sabers, and high-speed jet propulsion from the rear thrusters!
