MAX FACTORY (株式会社マックスファクトリー), a Japanese toy company, is releasing the second installment in its popular "figma" articulated figure series based on the hit anime "Chainsaw Man," following "Denji." This "figma Power" has a suggested retail price of 9,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2023!
"Chainsaw Man," a dark shonen manga created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of Denji (publisher's translation, phonetic translation is "Dianci"), a boy who makes a living by slaying devils. After an unexpected rebirth, he gains the new power of "Chainsaw" and joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters to battle various devils. He partners with "Power," a Blood Fiend who is also part of the "Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4" and possesses the ability to create various weapons from her own blood.
At first glance, Power appears to be a golden-haired, golden-eyed beautiful girl with prominent devil horns on her head. However, she has a wild personality and refers to herself as "Lord." While she claims to be a "super terrifying devil," she always plays dead or flees when encountering strong enemies. She is short-tempered and prone to lying, and despite having a small bust, she enjoys wearing breast pads to feign large breasts.
The "figma Power" articulated figure stands approximately 15 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Power's distinctive features, such as her characteristic red circle-cross eyes and prominent devil horns. She is dressed in a half-tucked Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division uniform, paired with a loose blue hooded jacket, rolled-up pant legs, and sneakers, capturing Power's unique and disheveled style. The figure comes with three interchangeable face plates: a confident "standard face," a mischievous "shouting face," and an "anxious face." Accessories include the Blood Fiend's "hammer," "sickle (×2)," "iron hammer," and her beloved cat "Meowy," allowing fans to recreate various scenes from the series!
