KADOKAWA's KDcolle brand is set to release the highly anticipated "Asuka, Rei, Mari Newtype Cover ver. 1/8 Scale Figure," based on the immensely popular "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," allowing you to fulfill three wishes at once! It will be available in both a standard edition and a KADOKAWA special set edition, with an estimated release in August 2023!
The "KDcolle Asuka, Rei, Mari Newtype Cover ver. 1/8 Scale Figure" brings to life the cover illustration from the June 2021 issue of "NEWTYPE," drawn by Atsushi Nishigori! The three popular female characters from the series – Asuka, Rei Ayanami, and Mari Makinami – are depicted in an uncharacteristic embrace, kneeling and linking arms. Standing approximately 12 cm tall, the figures perfectly capture the expressions from the illustration. Mari and Asuka wear white plugsuits, with Rei at the center sporting a gentle smile. The trio is sold as a set.
The limited edition includes a luxurious illustrated background base, enhancing the overall theme!
