BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has announced that four new mobile suits from various Gundam series, designed for Gundam fans worldwide as part of the new 6-inch action figure series "GUNDAM UNIVERSE", are scheduled for release in July 2023.
The "GUNDAM UNIVERSE" series adopts the globally popular 6-inch scale, condensing excellent armor details and paintwork into its 15-16 cm size. The mobile suit designs also feature many differences from their original counterparts, giving the armor lines a sharp, robust, and more three-dimensional appearance from any angle. The multi-joint designs are quite sturdy and suitable for play, though the overall range of articulation is still somewhat lacking.
・From "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury", the XVX-016 Aerial Gundam

Estimated Release Date: July 2023
Product Specifications: ABS, PVC pre-painted finished product, approximately 150mm tall

The GUND-ARM piloted by protagonist Suletta Mercury in the series. Its overall design has been reinterpreted in the GUNDAM UNIVERSE style, not only retaining the original's heavily geometric armor shapes but also further enhancing the limbs' armor to be thicker and more robust, adding a sense of weight reminiscent of the Universal Century era. Accessories include a Beam Rifle and Shield, though unfortunately, it cannot replicate the shield's in-series function of separating into 11 "GUND-Bits".
・From "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans", the Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex
Suggested Retail Price: 4,950 JPY (Tax Included)
Estimated Release Date: July 2023
Product Specifications: ABS, PVC pre-painted finished product, approximately 160mm tall
Product Contents: Main figure, interchangeable left and right hands, Ultra Large Mace, TAMASHII STAGE adapter parts
The final enhanced form of the Gundam Barbatos piloted by protagonist Mikazuki Augus in the series. Its design has been reinterpreted in the GUNDAM UNIVERSE style, giving it a more wild and aggressive appearance, with enhanced armor details and layering. It can be posed with its signature weapon, the included "Ultra Large Mace".
・From "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", the Shining Gundam
Suggested Retail Price: 3,300 JPY (Tax Included)
Estimated Release Date: July 2023
Product Specifications: ABS, PVC pre-painted finished product, approximately 150mm tall
Product Contents: Main figure, interchangeable left and right hands, interchangeable face parts, Shining Finger right hand, a set of Beam Sword blades, TAMASHII STAGE adapter parts
The New Japan representative mobile fighter piloted by protagonist Domon Kasshu in the early stages of the story. Its design has been reinterpreted in the GUNDAM UNIVERSE style, adding higher-density armor details and layering. The face can be swapped with interchangeable parts to recreate the mask-deployed combat mode, and it includes two Beam Swords of different lengths, as well as a green-painted hand specifically for its special move, the "Shining Finger".
・From "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing", the Tallgeese II
The mobile suit piloted by OZ leader "Treize Khushrenada" during the final stages of the "Gundam Wing" story. Based on the previously released Tallgeese, it features a new head sculpt and a dark blue color scheme. Its handheld Dober Gun and shield can be stored on the shoulders, and it includes the "Beam Saber" weapon used during its decisive battle with Wufei.
