BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. in Japan, has announced the latest product in its "Mobile Suit Gundam" candy toy series, "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE," which meticulously crafts precise structures and details at an average height of 55mm. The new item, "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Full Armor ZZ Gundam," is scheduled for release in June 2023.
While the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam is a mobile suit equipped with various high-firepower beam and projectile weapons, its structural integrity was somewhat weak due to its transformation and combination from three fighter jets. To counter the growing strength of the Neo Zeon forces and the monstrous giant MA "NZ-000 Quin Mantha," AEUG first proposed an enhancement plan, resulting in the "Enhanced ZZ Gundam." Later, utilizing data from the test unit FAZZ, it was modified into the "Full Armor ZZ Gundam," which boasts comprehensively enhanced defense, firepower, and mobility.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Full Armor ZZ Gundam" is based on the EX21 release from 2018, re-applied with a heavy metallic paint finish, and features over 10 newly added body markings, giving the characteristic heavy armor design even richer details. For weaponry, it can recreate the "Double Beam Rifle" mounted on the right arm or the impressively sized "Hyper Mega Cannon" on the shoulder through interchangeable parts. This version also includes two newly produced "Hyper Beam Sabers" and dedicated hands!
