From Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, the popular candy toy series FW GUNDAM CONVERGE, which boasts more intricate and bold designs, and is designated with the '♯(Sharp)' symbol, has announced the latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam', 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE ♯OPERATION JABURO', scheduled for release in June 2023.
This product features classic mobile suits that appeared in the famous 'Battle of Jaburo' during the One Year War from 'Mobile Suit Gundam', including six units: the Earth Federation Forces' Gundam, Guncannon, Guntank, and GM, as well as the Principality of Zeon's amphibious mobile suits, the Z'Gok and Char's Z'Gok.
The color schemes of these six products are an upgraded version of the special colors from the 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE OPERATION JABURO' released in 2012, with some mobile suits utilizing metallic paint to achieve a weighty texture. The sculpts are all new versions from the recently launched ♯(Sharp) series, allowing for weapon interchangeability for Gundam and Guncannon. Compared to the 2012 version, they boast more impressive proportions and details, capturing the coolness of mobile suits with a low-head-height ratio, and the base parts feature a special camouflage pattern print.
