This time, the stylish watches inspired by Conan and Kaito Kid, launched by Japan's PREMICO, have finally arrived!
In addition to the protagonist of "Detective Conan," "the only one who sees through the truth is a child in appearance, but a genius in reality," the enigmatic phantom thief "Kaito Kid," who is both Conan's rival and ally, was specially chosen. The intricate relationship between Conan and Kid is showcased through these stylish wristwatches, with highly recognizable character elements condensed into the watch dials and various packaging details. Just like their numerous confrontations in "The Last Wizard of the Century" or the anime, where they extend a helping hand to each other yet also compete, their subtle dynamic is perfectly captured! Let's unbox this must-have watch collection for all "Detective Conan" fans!

First up is the "Edogawa Conan Model," crafted with "Conan Blue" as its main color. The outer box features a gold-foiled print of Conan's classic confident silhouette, arms crossed against a wall, along with "DETECTIVE CONAN." It comes in a paper box packaging that is perfect for both gifting and collecting.

The watch dial design is filled with classic "Detective Conan" elements. The blue dial, inspired by Conan's jacket, features a classic three-subdial layout, simple yet exuding a strong detective aura. Of course, it also boasts practical functions such as a date display, 24-hour hand, and stopwatch.

The three o'clock and nine o'clock subdials are designed with Conan's criminal tracking glasses as inspiration, outlining the shape of Conan's glasses. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the three o'clock subdial, in addition to its 24-hour hand function, also features the criminal tracking glasses' radar as its background; and within the six o'clock subdial, a bowtie-shaped voice changer is hidden. Even the smallest details incorporate Conan's elements!

As the second hand moves, you'll also notice that the pivot of the second hand is designed in the shape of a keyhole. All these details imbue the "Official Detective Conan Watch" with a strong detective atmosphere!
The watch back features a laser engraving of Conan striking a cool pose, along with the "DETECTIVE CONAN" logo.

The "Kaito Kid" version of the watch, much like the surprise Kid brought upon his initial appearance, is filled with various "Kid" highlights in its design.

The outer box uses "Kaito Kid White" as its main color, with a silver foil print of Kid's equally cool and confident silhouette.
The watch dial design primarily features cool silver, complemented by blue, much like the blue ribbon on Kid's hat, perfectly accentuating the silver and white main body of the watch. The dial also adopts the classic three-subdial configuration, offering functions such as a date display, 24-hour hand, and stopwatch.

Below the 12 o'clock position is the crime code, the international criminal code "Phantom Thief 1412" from which Kid's name originates. The subtle lines on the nine o'clock subdial represent Kid's monocle, and the six o'clock subdial is adorned with Kid's iconic four-leaf clover symbol. The watch back features a laser engraving of Kid striking a cool pose, along with the "DETECTIVE CONAN" logo.

Both models feature Japanese quartz movements and are 5 ATM water-resistant, making them highly practical "Detective Conan" merchandise for daily life! However, please note that neither the Conan nor the Kaito Kid model has a tranquilizer dart function (that's right)!
If you're a "Detective Conan" fan, you must fondly recall the shock of Kaito Kid's initial appearance, almost like a Conan from a parallel universe—even Kaito Kid's childhood friend strongly resembles Ran! Furthermore, despite being enemies who attack each other with soccer balls and playing cards, they are also comrades who rescue each other (Kid can even disguise himself as Conan!). This subtle dynamic, transformed into "PREMICO" stylish wristwatches, is absolutely the best merchandise that "Detective Conan" enthusiasts cannot miss!
