Following the Magikarp, the Pokémon Center's original gashapon series in Japan is set to release a popular new item: the "Troubled? ∞ Infinite Psyduck (悩む？∞コダック)" wind-up gashapon. There are four types available, with a reference price of 400 JPY per turn, scheduled to be exclusively available at Pokémon Centers in Japan starting February 22, 2024.
Psyduck (コダック) is a Water-type Pokémon that combines the physical characteristics of a duck and a platypus, yet it cannot swim. With its plump body, short stout limbs, and small eyes, coupled with its frequent headaches that cause it to forget things, its expression is often dazed, always appearing somewhat foolish and clumsy. However, when its headache reaches a certain intensity, Psyduck can unleash incredible psychic powers such as Confusion and Disable!
The "Troubled? Infinite Psyduck" gashapon features Psyduck as a wind-up toy, approximately 6 cm in size. Simply wind it up to recreate Psyduck's iconic pose of clutching its head due to a headache. It includes four types: Normal Face, Troubled Face, Closed-Eyes Face, and a glow-in-the-dark version activating psychic powers! Collect multiple Psyducks to create a scene of them collectively spinning and wobbling around. The gashapon capsule is also designed in the shape of a Poké Ball. Don't miss out on collecting these adorable and pitiful Psyducks!
