Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the 'METAL ROBOT魂' series, which combines metallic texture painting and an alloy frame, has announced the commercialization of its latest work, the '(Ka signature) Full Armor Hyaku-Shiki Kai,' supervised by popular mechanical designer Katoki Hajime. The full product details are expected to be revealed on February 29, 2024.
Appearing in the magazine project 'M-MSV', the FA-100S Full Armor Hyaku-Shiki Kai is one of the enhanced armament plans based on the improved Hyaku-Shiki unit, the 'Hyaku-Shiki Kai'. The entire unit is equipped with heavy armor to defend against solid projectiles and reflective panels to generate an I-field to resist beam attacks. Its armaments include beam-type weapons such as beam rifles, beam cannons, mega particle cannons, and long-range mega destroyers, as well as solid projectile-type weapons like missile pods and explosive bolts. Although its mobility was reduced, its firepower and defense were significantly enhanced. However, during its development, the Universal Century had already entered the golden age of large transformable MS, and no mass production plan was subsequently initiated.
