Following the popular "Ryujinmaru" unit from "Mashin Hero Wataru," the robot model kit "HG (High Grade)" series from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division is re-releasing the luxurious "HG Ryujinmaru DX Ver." with an electroplated gold finish! The suggested retail price is 4,620 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2024.
The Savior's exclusive Mashin, Ryujinmaru, which houses the "Soul of the Golden Dragon," one of the "Seven Dragon Gods of Shinbu" who protect Soukaizan, has an appearance based on a clay sculpture made by the protagonist, Wataru Ikusabe. In addition to powerful moves like Toryuken and Ryuga-ken, Ryujinmaru also learns new techniques through continuous battles. After Kujinmaru's appearance, it can even combine with it to overcome its weakness of being unable to fly in combat. Unlike ordinary Mashin, Ryujinmaru can speak independently and act with its own consciousness.
The "HG Ryujinmaru DX Ver." model kit is based on the previously released standard version, but with the original gold molded parts replaced by a special electroplated gold finish, giving the unit and the Toryuken an exceptionally brilliant and luxurious metallic texture! It features flexible joint articulation with built-in extendable movable shafts that can be pulled out for expanded range, combined with multiple newly sculpted effect parts to vividly recreate cool attack poses. These include the Ryuga-ken, which shoots the shoulder dragon claws like boomerangs; flame effects for the Enryu-ken; Ryurai-ken effects that radiate from the shoulders; Hiryu-ken effects that launch long light ropes from the four holes on the unit; and the Gokkan Toryuken, which gains both ice and fire elemental attack power, along with Toryuken swinging effects, all to reproduce the spectacular special moves from the series!
