Released by BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the new 6-inch action figure series "GUNDAM UNIVERSE," designed for Mobile Suit Gundam fans worldwide, today announced the latest product from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," the "Gundam Barbatos Lupus," scheduled for release in September 2024.
ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus is the new form of Gundam Barbatos, refurbished by Tekkadan after the fierce battle with Gjallarhorn in Edmonton. With technical support from Teiwaz, significant internal and external adjustments were made, incorporating multiple curved armor plates to reduce impact from hits and lighten the frame for improved mobility. For the "Alaya-Vijnana System," further analysis and adjustments were made based on past combat data to allow Mikazuki to achieve a greater man-machine synchronization, thereby enhancing overall performance. In addition to the close-combat Sword Mace and Small Mace, 200mm cannons and rocket launchers can also be added to its arms.
"GUNDAM UNIVERSE Gundam Barbatos Lupus" is an approximately 15 cm tall action figure, featuring highly durable joint designs and the series' characteristic styling, with high-density armor detailing. Weapon accessories include its iconic Sword Mace, allowing for dynamic battle poses.
