BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from the popular Gundam candy toy series 『FW GUNDAM CONVERGE』: the "Dendrobium & Neue Ziel 0083 Final Battle Set" from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, scheduled for release in March 2025.
This set includes two large mobile suits: the protagonist Kou Uraki's final mobile suit, the large mobile armor for defending space strongholds, 『GP-03 Dendrobium』, which uses the Gundam Prototype 3 as its core; and Anavel Gato's massive space-use MA, 『AMA-X2 Neue Ziel』, which combines the technological prowess and spirit of the Zeon forces. Both large mobile suits are based on previously released :CORE versions, featuring highly substantial paintwork and body markings, and come with new weapon accessories to recreate the final battle scene.
The Dendrobium includes various weapon accessories such as the wire-guided missile, folding bazooka, folding shield, beam rifle, and missile pods. The core unit, the Gundam Prototype 3 "Stamen," can also be separated for individual display. This time, a pair of large claw parts that deploy from beneath the unit have been added, allowing for the recreation of the large beam saber deployment.
The Neue Ziel does not include new weapon accessories. Similar to previous versions, it includes non-articulated hidden arms, wired claw arms, and claws that deploy large beam sabers. It can also use its dedicated stand and wire parts to recreate the claw arm's firing state.
