Hong Kong's emerging toy brand SKY X STUDIO, following its previous "Pegas," has launched a new product based on the classic mecha anime "Space Knight BLADE" – "Tekkaman Evil." With a suggested retail price of HKD 880, it has officially gone on sale recently!
"Space Knight BLADE" (宇宙の騎士テッカマンブレード), which premiered in 1992, was produced by Tatsunoko Production (タツノコプロ). The story follows the protagonist, Takaya Aiba, who, along with his family, is captured by the alien force "Radam" while traveling on a spaceship. He is then transformed into a "Tekkaman," a weapon designed to invade Earth. Saved by his father, Takaya was not implanted with the brainwashing parasite, but this also left him as an incomplete Tekkaman with a 30-minute transformation limit, forcing him to fight against his brainwashed family members who have also become Tekkaman.
Tekkaman Evil is Takaya's twin brother, "Shinya Aiba." From a young age, he was a diligent perfectionist, harboring a strong complex towards his genius older brother (D-Boy). This Tekkaman Evil figure stands approximately 19 cm tall, meticulously recreating his sharp, red and black design from the series. His particle cannon (VOI-Tekka) features an LED light-up function. In addition to his weapon spear, the figure also includes 6 interchangeable battle-damaged armor pieces, making it the only Tekkaman Evil on the market to include battle-damaged parts, recreating his appearance after fighting Blade in the show!
