Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand T-SPARK's assembly model "REALIZE MODEL" series has announced its latest product from "ZOIDS", the "RMZ-004 Hellcat Guylos Color", scheduled for release in late April 2025.
"REALIZE MODEL" is a 1/100 scale articulated assembly model series, featuring "super articulation," "easy assembly," and "collectibility." From part count and sense of scale to design and structure, the developers have considered players' preferences from their perspective, realizing various ideal conditions one by one.
This product reconstructs the classic Zoid Hellcat, known as the "Jungle Assassin," using modern technology. The overall design concept incorporates the powerful jumping ability of its legs and the sound-dampening function of its paws, emphasizing feline contours such as the arched back. The detail density is further enhanced compared to the motorized versions sold during the Showa and Heisei periods.
The articulation mechanism features multi-stage movable joints throughout the body and a pull-out joint design hidden within the torso. The four limbs can achieve both splayed and inverted splayed stances, allowing for low-crouch ambushes and powerful jumps. The three-segmented tail can swing vertically and horizontally, and when combined with the included stand, it can display natural movements akin to a real animal.
Furthermore, both the Twin High-Speed Cannons and Twin Accelerator Cannons can have their left/right and up/down angles adjusted via articulation. The head cockpit features a hatch deployment mechanism, can even be detached independently, and can accommodate the included 1/100 scale regular soldier figure.
