American toy manufacturer SUPER7, known for its "Super Cyborg" series which allows for the removal of outer parts to reveal internal structures, announced its latest product from the 1989 "Batman" movie yesterday (the 4th): the "Batmobile (1989) Full Color Edition"! It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, with an estimated shipping date of October 2024, and a suggested retail price of US$125.

Over thirty years have passed, and the Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton's Batman in the 1989 "Batman" movie remains a favorite and the most classic for many old-school toy collectors. This Super Cyborg series three-dimensional Batmobile measures 35.3 cm in length and 12.7 cm in width. It meticulously recreates the sleek body lines, the turbine fan at the front, and the dual bat-wings at the rear, all based on the movie's design. The wheels can also actually rotate, making it an incredibly cool presence simply by displaying it.

Next, we get to the main highlight of the Super Cyborg: the removable shell design! The removable parts include the cockpit canopy and the large front hood. Once opened, you can further appreciate the internal mechanisms of this high-tech Batmobile, including finely detailed dashboard, a rotatable steering wheel, seats, a supercharged V-12 engine, rear-mounted oil slick dispenser, smoke emitters, and afterburners, among others. Oh no, I'm already starting to anticipate Super7 releasing a clear version!
