Japan's model manufacturer KOTOBUKIYA, known for its incredibly diverse assembly model customization parts series, "M.S.G," has announced its latest product: the "Heavy Weapon Unit 53 Combat Cell Dark Green Ver.," scheduled for release in January 2025.
This product is a revision of the previously released standard color version, "Heavy Weapon Unit 37 Combat Cell." The parts' molded color has been changed to the dark green used in the "HEXA GEAR" series, and it includes water-slide decals to reproduce the yellow lines on various sections, making it suitable for expanding the armaments of various military-themed model kits.
The product content is essentially the same as before, including a small tactical backpack, a gun case storing two pistols + one suppressor + one extended magazine + four spare magazines, two transformable submachine guns, one foldable rocket launcher, and an articulated stand. When the rocket launcher and submachine guns are folded and stored, they can be combined with the backpack and gun case to form a large tactical backpack, which can then be attached to the back of a separately sold character using the articulated stand.
