The renowned Hong Kong action figure toy brand "Storm Collectibles", known for releasing numerous character products from the SNK fighting game 《The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match》 (The King of Fighters'98: Ultimate Match, abbreviated as KOF98'UM) within its 1/12 scale action figure series, is set to launch a new character product in Q2 2025: "Joe Higashi" from 《Fatal Fury》! Priced at US$85.
Joe Higashi first appeared in 《Fatal Fury》, where he was one of the three playable characters alongside Terry and Andy. His fighting style is Muay Thai, and his signature special moves include the iconic projectile Hurricane Upper, the anti-air Tiger Kick, the dashing Slash Kick, and the rapid-fire Exploder. Joe has also been a regular character in the KOF series since 《The King of Fighters '94》, and his strength should not be underestimated.
This Joe Higashi figure by Storm Collectibles maintains the 1/12 scale, referencing his appearance in 《The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match》. It features his signature hairstyle and headband, his familiar orange-red shorts (with "JOE" written on the waist), and a beautifully sculpted, muscular physique. The highly articulated body allows Joe to realistically recreate in-game moves such as low kicks, mid kicks, slide kicks, and his special move, the Tiger Kick. For accessories, it includes three interchangeable face sculpts and seven interchangeable hand parts. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without the hurricane effect part for his signature special move, "Hurricane Upper".
