Japanese company UNION CREATIVE has announced the release of their latest product based on the popular light novel "OVERLORD": the "Albedo so-bin ver. [Limited color]" 1/6 scale figure. This limited color version of the "Albedo so-bin ver." makes a comeback! The suggested retail price is 22,000 JPY, with an estimated release in January 2025.
Albedo is an NPC character created by the player "Tabula Smaragdina" in the in-game online game "YGGDRASIL." Her race is succubus, and she serves as the Overseer of the Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Albedo is a peerless beauty with a charming face and an excellent figure. Her combat, strategic, and domestic skills are all of the highest caliber, earning her the title "Gentle and Considerate Pure-White Devil." However, when she "goes dark," she can devolve into hysteria, violence, and exaggerated facial expressions, leading her rival Shalltear to mock her as a "big-mouthed gorilla."
The UNION CREATIVE "Albedo so-bin ver. [Limited color]" 1/6 scale figure is based on the version released in 2020, bringing to life Albedo as drawn by so-bin, the artist responsible for the novel's illustrations. The Limited color version features pearl and glitter paint applications, giving her jet-black wings a dazzling and beautiful luster. Transparent parts are used for the hair tips, creating a translucent effect even for her flowing black hair. Furthermore, the base's emblem is a special specification unique to this limited color version!
