Japan, the "Torori~n Mascot" (tentative translation: Melting Mascot) series, which transforms characters into soft, ice cream-like figures, will launch its latest product from the TV anime "Made in Abyss" in the third week of September 2024: "Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun Torori~n Mascot"! There are 4 types to collect, with a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per capsule.
Unlike the capsule toys that simply exude cuteness by combining Sanrio characters with delicious ice cream, this "Torori~n Mascot" series, themed after "Made in Abyss," is full of dark humor. After all, anything and any physical transformation can happen in the Abyss! Even the soft and fluffy Nanachi could have their bones and flesh melted away! Although the characters included in this wave don't have any terrifying designs, seeing them melt still makes the editor feel quite uneasy.
