BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has officially announced today the latest product from the manga "A.O.Z Re-Boot Gundam Inle -The Black Rabbit's Dream-", the "HG 1/144 High-Zack Custom (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.)", from the 1/144 scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series, which boasts the most diverse range of mobile suits. It is scheduled for release in December 2024. This product will be sold exclusively on the official Bandai online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The RMS-106 High-Zack is a new mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation Forces after the One Year War, during the era of "Z Gundam". It was based on the design of the Zeon mobile suit "Zaku II F2 Type", combining technologies from both factions. Its hardware, including armor, engine, and thrusters, was comprehensively improved, and it was equipped with beam rifles, beam sabers, and other armaments. Among these, the "RMS-106CS High-Zack Custom" specification emerged, featuring comprehensive improvements to its energy system, backpack, power pipe configuration, armor materials, and more, and equipped with a sniper beam rifle.
The "HG 1/144 High-Zack Custom (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.)" is a modification of the "High-Zack (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.) for Civilian Use" which was sold exclusively at GUNDAM SIDE-F in 2023. It utilizes new parts to recreate the backpack, left and right shoulder armor, and a foldable sniper beam rifle. It also retains features such as the movable mono-eye camera in the head, movable torso and hip joints, and horizontal movable axis in the forearms, allowing for cool sniping poses.
