JADA TOYS, a toy brand renowned for its collectible scale model cars, has launched another new product in its 6-inch action figure series based on Capcom's Street Fighter game franchise. In addition to "Cammy," they are also releasing a new item themed after Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers – the "Dee Jay" 6-inch action figure. The suggested retail price is US$24.99, with an anticipated release in October 2024!
Dee Jay, nicknamed "The Comet of the Southern Sky," first appeared in Street Fighter II. He is a Jamaican taekwondo and karate practitioner, as well as a recording artist and breakdancer. His exceptional fighting prowess once caught the attention of Shadaloo, but he decisively rejected their offer.
This Dee Jay 6-inch action figure faithfully recreates his classic shirtless appearance from Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. The "MAXIMUM" lettering on the side of his orange cotton pants is reproduced with printed paintwork. His muscular physique is intricately sculpted, and the muscle lines on his bare feet exude a powerful aura! The gold necklace on his chest is represented by a ball chain. Similar to Cammy, although not explicitly stated in the description, the editor observes from the current official images that the braids likely feature a wire-wrapped design, similar to Dhalsim's arms, allowing for dynamic posing adjustments. Accessories include a replacement head sculpt, interchangeable hands, and ripple effect parts for attacks, enabling collectors to pose him with other Street Fighter characters to recreate in-game battles!
The outer box will also feature a window-box design, crafted in the classic Street Fighter II arcade cabinet style, allowing toy enthusiasts to get a sneak peek at the product's charm while reliving the original excitement of the game!
