Issued by BANPRESTO, a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, the "GOUKAI" product series, known for its powerful dynamic sculpting and fierce muscle lines, will release a new figure from the "Ultraman Series" in February 2025: the "Ultraman Father" (ウルトラの父) figure!
Ultraman Father, originally named "Ken" (ケン), is a revered Ultraman warrior and the Grand Captain of the Land of Light's Space Garrison. He first appeared in Episode 27, "Miracle! Ultraman Father," of the 1972 series "Ultraman Ace." His partner is Ultraman Mother, and together they are the biological parents of Ultraman Taro. However, for all young Ultraman warriors, Ultraman Father is essentially a reliable, father-like presence.
This "Ultraman Father" figure, sculpted for the GOUKAI series, stands approximately 17 cm tall. It not only fully recreates original character features such as his massive Ultraman horns, prominent sharp sideburns, belt, and large pectoral muscles, but also incorporates GOUKAI's signature detailed muscle line sculpting. Not only are the pectorals further enhanced, but the trapezius, abdominal muscles, and limb muscles are all rendered more distinct and exaggerated. Combined with the dynamic pose of preparing to unleash a powerful right punch, and the silver paired with low-saturation red paintwork, it exudes an unstoppable, formidable aura!
If this GOUKAI version of Ultraman Father had been the one to stop Belial when he invaded the Land of Light in "Mega Monster Battle Ultra Galaxy The Movie," the film would probably only be 20 minutes long (laughs). Don't forget to pair him with the "-Relax time-Ultraman Mother" figure, releasing in January 2025!
